Master Jay Stone ~ My Brother. I am so proud of you. From the beginning, I knew Jay as a kick-ass surfer, fearless, and bold, as a fellow wavemaster. A true artist of the Ocean. These skills, which I simply became the beneficiary of guiding his training, to a level that few hope to achieve. Sometimes, it is the things that give someone strength that have no relation to the martial arts, as a specific, Master Stone walked on water, and walked the path of a diligent devotee of the Karate Arts. As much as he loved surfing, and as a note, few would pass a "going-off" day, with the waves. Master Stone, did and willfully give of his time to his school, his Sensei, his family and his friends. Sometimes, people say, "Just give me a call, I'll be glad to help." This is a statement of fact, for Master Stone. There are critical moments, in each of our lives, where the job is too big for any one person. It is so comforting to know that this man, would answer the call. I can't think of any greater self-sacrifice, than to answer the call, of those in need. I, myself, was one of those people. Once again, Jay Stone is a Man that America itself, can be proud of. In this day and time, the youth of this nation, could live by example of someone, who naturally ~ see's the "big picture." What a delight it is that Men, such as he, walk among us, in these turbulent times. I look forward to the reward of his wisdom, and cheerfulness, in all the days of the rest of my life.
